What are the benefits of water filtration?

What are the benefits of a whole-home water filter?
A whole-home filtration system protects any appliance that uses water from the effects of “hard water.” They also extend the life of your plumbing system.
What causes water heater problems?
Hard, untreated water will lead to mineral deposits building up inside your tanks and the water lines that carry the water to and from the water heater. These deposits can cause blockages and corrode the tank, which leads to leaks. Water heaters are also victim to age.
How long does a water heater last?
The average life of a hot water heater is 10 to 15 years. Replacing it before it fails could save your property from costly water damage.

If your water heater has heavy lime build-up, corrosion or leaks, you should consider replacement.
What is the difference between a boiler and a water heater?

-Boilers heat water to circulate or create steam for radiators, baseboard heating, forced air heater, or radiant floor heating.
